    My Favorite Essential Oils

    Bergamot

    (Citrus aurantium var. bergamia): analgesic, antidepressant, sedative, great in a bath or massage for anxiety, depression and nervous tension

    Cedarwood

    (Cedrus atlantica): warming and harmonizing, calming and soothing, antiseptic, expectorant, sedative

    Chamomile

    (Roman) (Chamaemelum nobile): antispasmodic, sedative, comforting and soothing for children, anti-inflammatory

    Clary sage

    (Salvia sclarea): antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, relaxing, relieves anxiety and stress, antidepressant

    Eucalyptus

    (Eucalyptus globulus): expectorant, decongestant, good for cold and flu season, clears the mind, energizing (do not use on children under 2-years old)

    Geranium

    (Pelargonium graveolens): great PMS oil, antimicrobial, nerve pain, lymphatic stimulant, antidepressant, antiseptic, deodorant

    Jasmine Absolute

    (Jasminum officinale): The “king of flowers,” warms the womb and facilitates birth, aphrodisiac, sedative, antidepressant, antispasmodic

    Lavender

    (Lavandula angustifolia): calming, reduces anxiety, would healing, burns, helps regenerate cells, insect bites, antispasmodic, general skin care, reduces pain, reduces itching

    Lemon

    (Citrus limonum): antiviral, good cleaning oil, uplifting, detoxing

    Neroli

    (Citrus aurantium var, amara): relieves and reduces anxiety, antispasmodic, antidepressant, nourishing

    Peppermint

    (Mentha piperita var. vulgaris): relieves nausea, analgesic for muscular aches and pains, reduces migraines, energizing, antispasmodic (do not use on children under 2-years old)

    Sandalwood

    (Santalum album): antiseptic, antispasmodic, expectorant, sedative, calming and harmonizing , reduces tension and confusion, great to use at the end of a hectic day

    Siberian Fir

    (Abies sibirica): good for respiratory, use for colds and flu, sinus infection, refreshing and deodorizing, uplifting for emotions, reduces inflammation

    Sweet Orange

    (Citurs sinensis): antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antifungal, digestive stimulant, sedative for the mind

    Tea Tree

    (Melaleuca alternifolia): antimicrobial, antiseptic, expectorant, supports the immune system, respiratory and sinus

    Ylang Ylang

    (Cananga odorata): analgesic, relieves pain, antibacterial, antiseptic, antidepressant, aphrodisiac, promotes healing of cuts and wounds, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, good for colds and flu, lowers blood pressure, antispasmodic, calms the nerves
